Knit Patterns For A Baby Papoose

29 - January - 2011 La Granja and El Chozo Aranguez

PISAPRAOS that despite a day of dogs that did, we encourage you to go to the mountain and did not put the usual excuses (headache, etc. ..) to stay in the house warm.
Boys must learn to suffer .

To carry out this march, we went first to Segovia where we collect some of the staff, and later go to the town of La Granja, the starting point of the march and where have breakfast with coffee warm churros.
With a full stomach, parked cars to side of the Granja de San Ildefonso and we armed with all the tools for the realization of our walk today .

At all times we follow the footsteps of our guide today, Manuel, splendid familiar with this part of the saw.

We have to overcome quite streams but not very wide, which due to snow and ice, the junction is complicated by the possible fall if we slip .

Persistent but not very heavy snowfall with us for most of the march, and passing by some sites is complicated, but less well known is the way and never lose track .

As we climb the fog becomes more dense, which prevents us from seeing the stunning landscape of pine trees in this area .

weather conditions are not the best for a day in the mountains, but we hope that the open day some time, and meanwhile continue climbing .

Another step a little tricky to which we must implement the five senses .

A pisapraos to a beautiful waterfall.

We
in single file and not lose sight of each other .

A brief stop at that comment on the details of the march.

A tow with all our material, snowshoes, poles, crampons etc ... continued progress.

As we go, we go into the thicket of pine .

The snow does not stop and we must put the protection of our backpacks, so that moisture does not arrive within the same .

We see nothing but the ride, despite the time, is being very nice .

One last step before reaching the shelter who have already submitted that is very close .

The Chozo Aranguez lost in the snow and fog, where they find a place in their heads and eating .

After eating and lend a chat with some climbers who had intended to spend the night in the shelter and the journey back.

We walk through some places that some of us were known in some other place we had previously done in this area .

As we go down in height, the weather is improving (though not much) but at least we did not snow and fog is less dense, so people go relaxed while driving.

We
out of the thicket of pine

but landscape remains magnificent.

We see Segovia in the background, so progress is coming to an end, try not entretenermos much because we still have a road trip to do and the forecast is that it will to snow (and these would be fulfilled) .

TRY AGAIN IN SPRING FOR TOP SEGOVIA the prison.
