Last weeks have been a great freestyle training, after met with my brother Gerd coming back from his trip to the U.S.A where he has been working in the Jackson Kayak factory.

We set our base in Sort where we can kayak everyday and get in shape for the upcoming events and missions, there’s 2 holes, the second one becomes a great wave with eddy service just 5 minutes walking from the house, but needs way more water than what we have now, hope the god of the water bless us with heavy rains and hot weather so all the snow becomes water. |

These past weeks have been a very good workout freestyle, after meeting with my brother Gerd returning from his trip to the United States where he has been working in the factory jackson kayak. We established our base in Sort, where we paddle each day and how to catch everything that comes! We have 2 rolls, the second becomes a perfect wave with a perfect against just 5 minutes walk from our house, but needs much more water than they are now. Wishing the water god bless us with heavy rains and high temperatures for an early thaw. |

After A Few easy days paddling In sort, we Then Moved to Pau, where, the first competition of the FKT WAS held. An incredible slalom chanel with great eddies, lots of cool moves and a water Difficult and strange spot.

After a pleasant and quiet days in Sort, we moved to Pau, where he hosted the first competition of the Free Kayak Tour (French circuit of freestyle). An incredible field of slalom, with contras great, fun movimentos of water, enough background and a peculiar and difficult to curl.

The freestyle competition went very well, with very good rounds on the first day, a friendly meeting with members of Pek and other crazy French. Cross the border was great going both to the next round without problems.

Freestyle competition went great with good rides on the first day, good meeting with PEK members and the crazy frenchies. Border cross went sweet aswell passing both to the next round with no problems.

The next day was very hard, with a heavy hangover and feeling very tired, anyway gave everything in the finals!

Next day was a hard one, hangover was there and we were all tired, anyway we gived everything! Gerd won the border cross, followed by me.

Freestyle competition was great, Quentin placed 1st, Debred 2nd and Gerd 3rd (super solid paddling during all the week-end, and a few points away from the first place).

En Freestyle, Quentin 1ro, Debred Gerd 2nd and the 3rd (still be paddling very well all weekend, with very strong and regular sleeves, stayed a few points first.)

I'm happy to be back rowing with the freestyle boat after so long, but I have already eager to grab the creek boat and get out to explore a new site, run a good waterfall or spend the day down a river with good friends!
