TRAINING COURSES AND CANOEING TECHNIFICATION Whitewater Rafting ALPINE - CREEK LEVEL I - BEGINNER / BASIC (III-IV +)

• Location: Sort Area - Pallars Sobirá (Lleida)

• Course fee: 200 € per person

• practice hours approx. in water: 10-12 hours

• course Total Hours: 21 hours

• Accommodation: Escola de Piragüisme Sort - (half board complete)

* Warning: intensive weekend with a lot of hours both in theory and in the water. We recommend bringing plenty of stamina and a bit of fitness to get the most out of course!

Objective

Course for those paddlers Class III + with a good command of Eskimo whitewater who want to start in the creek or river rafting Alpine a safe and controlled. This course aims to provide all the basics and advanced knowledge for the practice of creek and a good progression, but especially fast in a controlled, safe and informed.

The long term objective of the course is to prepare and give sufficient knowledge to paddlers completed the course once they can evolve and enjoy the creek in safety.

or 10:30 h ° Downward fluid from Llavorsí to Rialp. Objective: assessment of participants, familiarity with the group and instructors.

or 13:30 h · Transport and climb up Borén
or 14:00 h • Computer picnic in Borén

or 15:00 h · decrease High Noguera to Borén
or Video Review and theoretical and practical lessons in the classrooms of the Piragüisme School of

or 21:00 h · Dinner in the School of Sort Piragüisme

or 22:00 h · Video Pass creek

El Alto Noguera is a classic thing to do, about 15 km of continuous rapids.

Sunday April 3

or 11:00 h ° Downward of Palomeras

or 15:00 h • Computer picnic in Tavascan

or 16:00 h · assessment and end of course final

The Palomeras, is a ravine about 500 m. with many jumps, ramps and fast fun!

Course Requirements

• Land Be the RFEP.

• be class III paddler with a good command of the Eskimo in water rafting.

• Material: the material needed and appropriate for the completion of the course. If you need specific material contact us to enroll.

• Material preferred creek kayak (length and volume), pala-resistant, solid or integral helmet, elbow pads, protection against cold (wetsuit, dry pants. ..), anorak

Media

From SBP consider very important learning through videos, so the entire course will be recorded from our GoPro (helmet cam) and HD camcorder. In the evening we will analyze and correct the errors decrease. Of course everyone can take their pictures home after completion of the course (bring a large USB or DVD).

pointing to book your chosen accommodation: full board, half board, two nights, etc and we reserve the accommodation by a total pack course + accommodation.

Instruction by professional paddlers
in their field.

- The planned reductions in the Upper Noguera and Palomeras can be replaced by other sections in case of problems of water level participants recommended not to run the High ... etc.
